How to Play
Getting Started
Open Hidden Canvas and begin by setting the button just above the game board to 'reveal mode'. Reveal Mode button is a teal colored button. Begin tapping tiles that you think are safe. If you tap a tile that has a paint splatter on it, the current game ends and you have to start over.
Basic Gameplay
Review the numbers on the tiles -- The numbers on the tiles equal the number of paint splatters surrounding that tile. Mark the tiles that contain paint splatters using brush mode. Use reveal mode to mark 'safe' tiles. Revealing all of the safe tiles wins. Tapping on a tile that contains a hidden paint splatter while in 'reveal mode,' ends a game. Click 'Reveal Another' to start another attempt to reveal that painting section.
Monitor the number of Hidden Marks stat -- Watch the Hidden Marks stat at the top to monitor how many paint splatters are still hidden. Tapping a paint splattered tile in brush mode keeps you in the game. Each win reveals a section of a painting. Continue playing until all sections of a painting are revealed.
Tips for Success
Find the tiles who touch one unrevealed tile and are surrounded by tiles with revealed painting on them. Use brush mode to mark all of the areas where a tile marked 1 touches only one unrevealed tile. The number 1 means that tile touches 1 paint splattered tile, so if a tile marked 1 only has one unrevealed tile touching it, that must have a paint splatter!
